Michael Moon’s ‘Earth Trilogy’ 3 CD set wins yet another award. This time for music of the year!
The ‘Earth Trilogy’ CDs were composed to help harmonize our body, mind and heart to the life-sustaining vibration of Mother Earth through 3 distinct methods. Earth Alignment through pure sound frequency. Earth Healing through the healing vibrations and practice of forgiveness and Ho’o’ponopono. Earth Song through inspirational song, prayer and chant opening our hearts to the Earth.
The CDs have now received 4 prestigious Visionary Awards at the International New Age Trade show. The Annual COVR Visionary Awards celebrate the ‘Best of the Best’ in the New Age industry and are voted by a coalition of stores and industry leaders.
Earth Alignment won First Place in Healing Music. Earth Healing won second place in the General Music category. Earth Song won first place in Visionary music as well as the prestigious Music of the Year Award.

Michael Moon is a composer and musician specializing in healing music. His pioneering music is cherished by many alternative healers and body workers and found worldwide in yoga studios and healing centers.
Michael’s music is created with a wide variety of instruments including vibraphone, hammered dulcimer, gongs, bells, guitars and vocals. His concerts are an interactive and engaging experience taking the audience on a magic carpet ride of mystical sounds and songs.
Michael knows intimately music’s power to heal. As a child, Michael was considered autistic and since has dealt with many chronic health issues. In his darkest moments he experienced a soothing rich inner landscape of music and the translation of this music became a passion and gateway to his own healing. Michael has since studied with Shamans, healers and musicians from around the world passionately imbibing the mystical and healing dimensions of sound.
Michael specializes in composing healing soundscapes which create a ‘Temple of Sound’, a sacred space in which the bodies natural healing abilities are enhanced. Michael also creates an entrancing blend of world, folk and pop sounds with mystical lyrics filled with deep poetry resulting in a fresh new sound that inspires, moves, and uplifts the soul.

The Earth Trilogy
My Story
I have always been fascinated by the sounds and textures of Nature and have found it to be my greatest teacher. As a child I was extremely sensitive and was diagnosed Autistic at age three. Nature was the only place I found peace during a difficult childhood and I would spend hours just running my hands through the warm sand enjoying the unique beauty of every separate grain as it shone in the sun. Soothed by the music of water.
Though my parents were told “I would never function as an adult in society” they didn’t listen and through love, support and determination I began thriving in maths and sciences, yet still struggling with languages and the social world. I found a passion for photographing the textures of my ‘best friend’ Nature and wanted to become a National Geographic photographer when I grew up. But I struggled through school being a social outcast and constantly missing school for health reasons.
By age 20 my struggle to be normal and do well caught up with me, and my health crashed. I took time out in Nature to try and recover and had a profound life-changing experience where I began hearing exquisitely beautiful music emerging from the natural world around me. This musical voice spoke to me and told me so clearly I still hear it as if it were yesterday that I am here to create this music. I had never played music before so this was a shock but the voice was so strong I listened.
Music began pouring through me and though it did not immediately become a career it became my pathway to healing. This spiritual awakening led me to study with shamans, healers and musicians from around the world exploring the mystical and healing dimensions of Sound, Spirit and Nature and also informed my other passions of astrology and photography.
Now as an award* winning composer and musician specializing in healing music my music is loved by many alternative healers and body workers and found worldwide in yoga studios and healing centers.
I create the music with a wide variety of all acoustic world instruments. Vibraphone and bells were the first instruments I learned after my awakening because the sounds I was hearing had an ethereal bell like and watery quality and these instruments came as close to the sound as I could get. From there I began playing hammered dulcimer, gongs, guitars and vocals. My concerts are an interactive and engaging musical healing experience rather than being a show. I love taking my audience on a magic carpet ride of sounds and songs where they can have a taste of the mystical while relaxing, singing or dancing.
